The lecturer spoke in detail about the education system within the University of California system, which includes 10 campuses. It turned out that 6 Nobel laureates teach at this university. On September 24, 2024, the faculty members of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines held a literary evening on the topic "Alash ustazy", dedicated to the researcher of Kazakh linguistics A. Baitursynov. The linguist's enormous contribution was the creation of a new alphabet that took into account the features of the Kazakh language. Thanks to A. Baitursynov and his associates, schools and universities teaching in the Kazakh language were opened. Providing them with high-quality teaching aids and programs was the main task of the Academy of Enlightenment, whose head was Ult ustazy.

On September 25, at the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Acting Associate Professor A.Zh. Dosanova held a scientific and methodological seminar on the topic "The Ancient Turkic Alphabet - the Beginning of the Kazakh Alphabet", dedicated to Languages Day. The methodological seminar addressed questions about the ancient Turkic alphabet, its sound composition, and its similarity to the Kazakh alphabet established by A. Baitursynov. In addition, questions of the classification of vowels and consonants and the law of vowel harmony in ancient Turkic writing were discussed. An exhibition of historical materials related to ancient Turkic writing was organized at the seminar. The event was attended by the dean of the faculty A.A. Mukhametzhanova, the head of the department D.Kh. Baidrakhmanov, teachers, and students.
