On September 25, at the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Acting Associate Professor A.Zh. Dosanova held a scientific and methodological seminar on the topic "The Ancient Turkic Alphabet - the Beginning of the Kazakh Alphabet", dedicated to Languages Day. The methodological seminar addressed questions about the ancient Turkic alphabet, its sound composition, and its similarity to the Kazakh alphabet established by A. Baitursynov. In addition, questions of the classification of vowels and consonants and the law of vowel harmony in ancient Turkic writing were discussed. An exhibition of historical materials related to ancient Turkic writing was organized at the seminar. The event was attended by the dean of the faculty A.A. Mukhametzhanova, the head of the department D.Kh. Baidrakhmanov, teachers, and students.
