Youth Affairs Committee

Youth Affairs Committee implements the State Youth Policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the university: it protects students' rights, coordinates self-governance bodies and clubs, and organizes educational, wellness and cultural activities.

Character Education and Healthy LifestyleCivic, moral and ethno-cultural education and promotion of a healthy lifestyle.

Health preventionHealth and educational activities: tobacco prevention, reducing the number of smokers and combating drug abuse.

State languageCooperation with the Department of Languages and organization of joint events in the state language.

Culture and CreativityInstilling elements of culture, a creative worldview, respect for elders, and providing moral and psychological guidance.

Participation in organizing showcases and competitions in relevant areas.

Coordination of organizations

Coordinating university public organizations in implementing youth policy and promptly addressing youth issues.

Liaison with authorities

Cooperation with higher authorities and youth organizations for practical, timely solutions to youth issues.

01Works to fully implement youth policy at the university.

02Ensures observance of the rights and obligations set out in the legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the "Concept of State Youth Policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan".

03Organizes the implementation of decisions made by higher bodies and the administration.

04Selects staff and active members for the committee's units.

05Plans the work of the committee and its units, and monitors the implementation of plans.

06Studies, summarizes and disseminates best practices in youth work, and improves the forms and methods of its activities.

07Maintains contact, in the established manner, with student self-government bodies, youth organizations, and higher authorities.

08Participates in organizing student research work.

09Holds academic conferences, olympiads, showcases, and competitions for the best study groups.

Functions are carried out in accordance with the tasks assigned to the committee.
