Educational and Upbringing Work

Extracurricular education is an integral part of the university's teaching and upbringing process, aimed at forming and developing the personal culture of future specialists. It is organized by the Youth Affairs Committee together with deans' offices, curators, and student self-government.

In accordance with the extracurricular education plan, the university holds cultural and sports events at the citywide and national levels.

Regulatory framework and partners

Educational work at the university is carried out in accordance with current legislation, regulatory legal acts, the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan and internal documents — in line with the "State Program for the Development of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2011-2020", the annual Address of President K.K. Tokayev to the People of Kazakhstan, the Address of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the People of Kazakhstan "Kazakhstan-2050: One Goal, One Interest, One Future", "Nurly Zhol – Path to the Future", as well as the approved action plans for implementing these objectives and the educational work plans of the university and the deans' offices.

Educational work is carried out jointly with deans, deputy deans and curators, with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Akimat of Astana, the Department for Youth Policy of Astana, the Youth Wing of the "Zhas Otan" party and the "Baikonyr" district akimat of Astana.
