A Mock Trial Lesson Was Held at Esil University

The Law Department of Esil University, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office of the Baikonyr District, conducted a mock trial lesson on the theme of "Court Proceedings".

The purpose of the event held in collaboration with the prosecutorial authorities was to implement a competency-based approach and enhance the effectiveness of the educational process within the Jurisprudence programme.

During the event, various aspects of judicial proceedings were discussed, as well as unclear and contentious issues relating to narcotics. The video lessons were conducted with an emphasis on assignments addressing questions of interest to students, which rendered the approach to the sessions more practical. The progress of the judicial proceedings was monitored.
