Within the framework of the Department of Accounting and Audit Week, a guest lecture was held with the participation of the General Director of Axioma LLP, Peresypkina Yu.A., on the topic "Reflection of Elements of the Accounting Method in the Accounting Policy of an Organisation." The event was organized by Senior Lecturer of the Department of Accounting and Audit Mikhaylina I.N.; participants included fourth-year students majoring in Accounting and Audit.
Current issues were examined: the method of accounting and its constituent elements, accounting policy and its sections. The accounting policies of organizations in Kazakhstan reflect all the principal elements of the accounting method, determining approaches to documentation, valuation, inventory, cost calculation, ledger management, and the preparation of financial statements. This ensures compliance with the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Accounting and Financial Reporting" and guarantees the reliability of accounting data. An active discussion took place at the meeting. Students and faculty raised relevant questions.
