Esil University Discussed Measures to Prevent Offenses Among Students

Esil University hosted a meeting between students and representatives of state authorities, aimed at fostering legal culture, developing critical thinking, and promoting a sense of personal responsibility. The event was held within the framework of the ideological theme "Law and Order" and was dedicated to the prevention of offences among young people.

At the university, the floor was taken by Nurislam Batyrbek, Chief Specialist of the Internal Policy Department of the Baikonyr District Akimat of Astana, and Seitkhan Pernekhanov, district inspector of the Baikonyr District and Lieutenant Colonel of Police. The speakers discussed with students current issues of compliance with legislation, personal responsibility, and the consequences of unlawful conduct.

During the meeting, participants were shown two short films, "Not Bookmarks," dedicated to the prevention of offences among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. After the screening, an open discussion was held during which young people were able to ask questions of interest and share their views.
