Tutorial Hour No. 2 on the topic "Academic Integrity and the Code of Honour of the Student and Teacher" was held at the Department of Information Systems and Technologies of Esil University. The event took place with the participation of students of group B-ITiZD-24/1R (32 persons).
The academic advisor Zhanbyusinova B.Kh. noted that academic integrity is the foundation of the professional ethics and personal responsibility of a future specialist in the field of information technology.
Students viewed the video presentation "Academic Integrity" by V. Lebedev, which examined in detail the main forms of violations — plagiarism, forgery, fraud, falsification, cheating, and sabotage.
Participants also familiarised themselves with the main provisions of the Esil University Code of Academic Integrity and the Code of Honour for Students and Teaching Staff, approved by the decision of the Academic Council (Minutes No. 18, dated 30.06.2022).
Group Monitor Yermilov V. presented an overview of the regulatory documents published on the official university website that govern students' academic and extracurricular activities.
