Department of "Finance" Esil University A guest lecture was organized for 2nd-year students. The department invited as a lecturer Mukhitbekova Asem Maratovna is an independent member of the board of the NLA "Association of Agroinsurance".
The lecture addressed the topic of "Agricultural Insurance and Its Development in Kazakhstan." The principal issues of the lecture were devoted to the problems of developing the insurance business in Kazakhstan. The lecturer characterized the achievements and shortcomings of the Kazakhstan insurance system, highlighted the necessity and relevance of developing agricultural insurance. Factors and conditions that influenced the establishment of the Legal Entity "Association of Agricultural Insurance" were identified.
The lecturer introduced the company's range of products, outlined the market of existing and potential clients, and presented the dynamics of transaction volumes over the preceding four years since the company's establishment. During the lecture, the speaker drew attention to the specific requirements for company employees and the technologies employed in the course of operations.
It was emphasized that the company's operations are conducted in online mode, encompassing both client services and cooperation with partner companies. A special place is occupied by activities with insurance companies of Switzerland and Germany operating under reinsurance programmes.
Students were provided with information about the company's challenges and business prospects, which generated considerable interest among the audience. The lecturer demonstrated a high level of professional expertise in the development of agro-insurance, drawing on her experience and practical skills as a specialist in the introduction of new company products.
