On 23 May, the forum "Abai's Teaching on the 'Perfect Man': National Values and a Contemporary Perspective," dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the great thinker Abai Kunanbaiuly, commenced its work at Shakarim University.
Representing Esil University at the event were the Dean of Student Affairs Shynar Kungeldykyzy and Denis Tushinsky, a Master's student of the Finance educational programme.
The forum brought together approximately 200 participants from more than 70 universities across the country — scholars, educators, administrators, and students who are shaping the intellectual future of Kazakhstan. Participants discussed Abai's legacy in the context of contemporary challenges and explored new dimensions of his philosophy.
The forum includes a trip to Abai's homeland, where guests will have the opportunity to become better acquainted with his cultural heritage.
