As part of the Management Department Week at Esil University, a Debate Tournament on the topic "VAT 16%: Opportunities or Challenges?" was held by Senior Lecturer of the Department Sharimova Magirash Kairbekovna and third-year students of the Management educational programme.
Participants presented a well-reasoned account of the actual situation in the economy on this topic and attempted to persuade the audience of their point of view and the future prospects of forthcoming market changes.
The audience comprising faculty members, led by the Head of the Management Department, Zhanar Zamashevna Baigireeva, evaluated the debaters' arguments. Students from the Management EP and the Public Administration EP actively posed questions to the debaters and expressed their opinions on this widely discussed topic in contemporary society.
Following the debates, all audience members voted for the teams whose arguments were the most convincing and substantive. First-Degree Diplomas were awarded to students Talgatov Temirlan and Malyarchuk Anastasia. Second-Degree Diplomas were awarded to students Kokenov Ilyas and Filipenko Ivan.
