Within the framework of educational work and the development of social responsibility among students of the "Social Work" educational programme, a charitable fair was organized and held in support of the Private Educational Institution "SOS Children's Village Astana."
The educational event was organized by the academic staff of the Department of Social Work and Tourism: Бурганова Роза Ильдаровна, Әдебиетова Айман Есенкуловна, Ромханқызы Жансұлу , as well as students of the Social Work educational programme. The event was aimed at developing in students the values of humanism, compassion, social responsibility, and active civic engagement.
In the course of organizing and conducting the charity fair, students, together with the academic staff, raised the necessary funds, which were directed toward providing assistance to the Non-Governmental Organization "SOS Children's Village Astana." With the collected funds, essential goods were purchased for the children and families residing at the Child and Family Support Centre, thereby contributing to the improvement of their daily living conditions.
The event produced a meaningful educational impact, enabling students to put into practice the professional values of social work, develop teamwork skills, initiative, and a sense of responsibility towards socially vulnerable population groups. The administration of the Non-State Institution "SOS Children's Village Astana" expressed sincere gratitude to the student body and the faculty for their contribution to the development of social initiatives and support for children and families.
This event served as a model of successful collaboration between an educational institution and a social partner, and also provided a foundation for the further development of fruitful cooperation and the implementation of joint social projects.
