A Meeting of Social Work Students with the Head of the ‘Pravo’ Public Foundation

An engaging meeting was held at the university between students of the Social Work programme and Olga Ryl, Director of the Public Foundation "Pravo." The Public Foundation "Pravo" has been operating in Kazakhstan for more than 20 years. It was established as a centre providing free comprehensive assistance to individuals in difficult life circumstances, including victims of sexual and domestic violence.

Olga Vladimirovna spoke to students about the significance of the Social Work specialisation, explaining that this profession is in high demand today and that the well-being and future of the country will increasingly depend on the work of social workers.

Students listened with keen interest to information about the new areas in which the Foundation currently operates, the assistance provided by the Foundation to minors in difficult life circumstances, victims of domestic and sexual violence, and young people who fall into the networks of the drug trade. The Director of the Foundation expressed readiness to welcome university students for practical internships at the organisation and to continue effective cooperation with the university.
