At the Faculty of Applied Sciences of Esil University, an educational session on the topic "How to Preserve Our Ecology?" was held.
The event was conducted by Associate Professors of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines, M.Kh. Khassenova and F.Z. Dzhaksylykova. First-year students of the Tourism and Social Work programmes attended the educational session.
In her opening remarks, M.Kh. Khassenova emphasized the role of nature in human life, quoting poet Olzhas Suleimenov and physicist Albert Einstein.
During the educational hour, students in national costumes delivered presentations on environmental issues and ways to address them in Russian and Kazakh. Special attention was given to the tangible contribution each student can make to resolving environmental problems: conserving water and electricity, and the importance of cleanliness and waste recycling. In conclusion, a quiz was held to test students' knowledge of nature-themed riddles, and students and faculty together performed the song "Sunny Circle" by A. Ostrovsky and L. Oshanin in three languages.
