On September 18, 2024, Senior Curator of the Faculty of Business and Management Zambinova Zaure Bolatovna conducted an evening duty shift at the Esil University dormitory.
During her duty shift, Zaure Bolatovna conducted a walkthrough of all floors of the building, recording students' suggestions and remarks. A discussion was also held on the topic "Healthy Lifestyle: A Comprehensive Plan to Combat Drug Addiction and Drug Trafficking in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023–2025."
Students were given recommendations on observing the principles of prevention aimed at precluding the initiation of psychoactive substance use and limiting the development of problems associated with such use. Prevention efforts may be focused both on the individual and on their social environment.
Preventive measures may be directed at modifying community conditions or policies, thereby contributing to reducing the availability of substances and demand for them. Students participated actively in the discussion, asked questions of interest, and listened attentively to the senior academic advisor.
