A conference dedicated to National Currency Day — the Tenge — and devoted to the introduction of advanced technologies in the field of artificial intelligence was held at Esil University. The key event was the opening of ESIL MEDIA HUB — a modern space for the development of media technologies, digital communications, and student projects.
ESIL MEDIA HUB has been established as an innovative centre bringing together students, lecturers, and industry experts in the fields of journalism, public relations, design, and information technology. The new space is equipped with the necessary infrastructure for the implementation of academic and creative projects.
Following the opening ceremony, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Esil University and JSC "Kazsportinvest" of the Ministry of Sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The document was signed by the university's Rector and the company's President Alibek Khassenov, who noted the significance of strengthening partnership ties in the area of developing student initiatives and joint projects.
The conference programme included a series of thematic presentations. Ruslana Kuanyshevna Ishchanova, Deputy Director of the Central Branch of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, presented a report on the evolution of banknotes of the national currency, focusing on the stages of development of the security system and modern approaches to the design of monetary notes.
The Rector of Esil University, Ayapbergen Taubayev, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, noted that the launch of the media hub opens new prospects for the university:
"We are creating infrastructure that enables students not only to acquire knowledge but also to apply it in practice. ESIL MEDIA HUB will become a space where innovations, bold ideas, and professional competencies of a new level are born. This is an important step in strengthening the university's position as a modernizing educational center," the rector emphasized.
В рамках мероприятия была также презентована книга «Халықтың қаржылық сауаттылығын арттыру негіздері», подготовленная под руководством первого проректора – проректора по академическим вопросам Серика Бихановича Мақыша, д.э.н., профессора.
The opening of the media hub marked a significant milestone in the development of the digital infrastructure of Esil University and reinforced the university's position as a modern educational centre oriented towards innovation and practice-based student training.
