The topic of the meeting was dedicated to life in the United States, with the primary objective of developing listening skills and comprehension of spoken English.

The event was organized by the English Language Section of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines. During the meeting, the guest shared with students information about the education system in the United States, as well as personal experience of living and teaching English in Spain, Russia, and Kazakhstan. It was noted that Kelly's husband, William, also teaches English in Astana.
