An introductory excursion for students of Secondary School-Gymnasium No. 94 named after Tursynbek Kakishev was held at Esil University.
The educational institution was also visited by career guidance specialist Akhanova Gulnur, who assists in the selection of a future profession, together with the graduates.
During the event, Azamat Nurseitov, a specialist from the career guidance department, provided prospective applicants with detailed information on admission opportunities, educational programmes, and the advantages of studying at the university. Special attention was devoted to the professional development of students and the employability of graduates in the labour market.
The excursion enabled schoolchildren to familiarise themselves with the university's contemporary educational environment and the level of implementation of innovative technologies. Participants visited the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, where its director Yesenzhоlov Zhangir presented achievements in the field of digitalisation and discussed the application of AI technologies in the academic process.
Also within the programme, Mels Arman, a student of the Department of Management, delivered a presentation on the preparation of future leaders, highlighting the potential of the educational programme and the department's role in developing managerial competencies.
Holding such events promotes professional orientation among schoolchildren, broadens their understanding of the higher education system, and helps them make an informed choice of future specialisation.
