Esil University Held a Round Table ‘Social Statistics: Income and Poverty’

A round table was held for students of Groups B-St-24/1 R and B-St-24/1 K. The moderator was Amangeldynov Nurbolat, Senior Specialist of the Department of Construction and Investment Statistics. The topic of the round table was: "Social Statistics: Income and Poverty."

The purpose of the event was to familiarize students with key social statistics indicators, in particular the analysis of household income and poverty levels, as well as to develop skills in discussing and analysing socio-economic issues.

During the round table, methods of measuring income, inequality indicators, and approaches to assessing the poverty level were examined. Special attention was paid to statistical data sources and their practical application in socio-economic analysis. Participants actively discussed the presented materials, asked questions, and shared opinions.

Following the round table, students expanded their knowledge in the field of social statistics and gained an understanding of modern methods for analyzing household income and poverty.
