Esil University Discussed Modern Methods of Teaching Applied Subjects

A methodological seminar for the academic faculty was held at Esil University as part of the Young Lecturer School programme. The meeting focused on contemporary approaches to teaching scientific and applied disciplines.

The report was delivered by Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Almas Muzatovna Bayandinova. She presented the course "Business Planning in Tourism" as a case study for analysis, shared practical recommendations on the organisation of the educational process, and demonstrated techniques for actively engaging students in the study of professional disciplines.

Participants discussed effective forms of content delivery, the application of case studies and project assignments, as well as the use of business plans as a tool for developing practical competencies. Particular attention was devoted to issues of integrating digital tools and the criteria for evaluating student projects.

The seminar served as a platform for the exchange of experience among teaching staff. Following the event, it was noted that the knowledge gained would be valuable in updating curricula and advancing practice-oriented teaching.
