A Youth Job Fair Was Held in Astana

A youth job fair was held at Esil University in Astana. The event was supported by the Astana Department of Youth Policy, the Youth Resource Centre "Astana Zhastary," and the City Labour Mobility Centre, as reported. Elordainfo.kz with Reference to the Capital City Akimat.

The fair was attended by 50 city employers, more than 800 job-seeking citizens, university graduates, and the youth of the capital.

A Youth Job Fair Was Held in Astana

Employers included municipal institutions, companies such as JSC "NC "KTZ"", "Kazpost," and second-tier banks. During the fair, employers presented available vacancies within their organisations and had the opportunity to compile a database of the most suitable candidates. Job seekers communicated directly with HR managers, attended interviews, and posed questions of interest.

This is already the third job fair of the year. Previously, a large city fair for unemployed individuals was held at the Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University named after S. Seifullin and at the 'Barys Arena' venue. Today, a fair for 3rd and 4th-year students took place at Esil University.

According to Nazgul Akhmetzhanova, Head of the Civil Service Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs in Astana, there are currently approximately 300 vacancies in the capital across the territorial departments of central executive bodies and local executive bodies.

"In Astana, local executive bodies have more than 70 vacancies, of which more than 50 are the most junior executive positions. There is an opportunity to employ young people in these vacancies," noted Nazgul Akhmetzhanova.
