Abai’s Work as a Reflection of the Multifaceted Linguistic Worldview of the Kazakhs

From October 6 to 10, 2025, as part of the Week dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the birth of Abai Kunanbaev, faculty of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines conducted a series of events.

In order to promote the creative legacy of Abai and foster interest in Kazakh history and culture through an appreciation of the profound essence of literary art, a quiz, a poetry marathon, and a best-essay competition were organised.

At the literary and musical event, students recited poems and edifying words and performed songs by Abai. One of the significant events was the open session of the "Polylingv" circle.

In conclusion of Abai Week, the organisers, on behalf of the university administration, presented diplomas to competition winners and students who had actively participated in the series of events.
