An event entitled "Tarikh Talks" was held at the Presidential Centre of the Republic of Kazakhstan, attended by students and staff of Esil University.
One of the highlights was the address by Maya Bekbayeva, a renowned journalist, director, and producer, author of documentary films about significant moments in the history of Kazakhstan. At this meeting she presented her latest film dedicated to the figure of Sultan Baybars, recounting lesser-known aspects of his life and legacy.
In addition, a guest lecture was delivered by the renowned researcher of ancient world maps of the Kazakh state, Doctor of Political Science, Professor of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Mukhit-Ardager Sydyknazarov, during which he shared his knowledge and experience.
These events proved to be a valuable experience for the participants, enabling them to deepen their knowledge of Kazakhstan's past and cultural heritage, as well as to enrich the dialogue with prominent personalities and historians.
