Second-year students of the "Tourism" educational programme visited the Forte Kulanshi Art Space as part of a field session for the discipline "Excursion Studies." The event was conducted under the supervision of Senior Lecturer Muslimbekova M.A.
The aim of the field trip was to familiarise students with the activities of an art space, to study the principles of guided tour services in the field of contemporary art, and to develop excursion work skills. The event enabled students to broaden their knowledge in the field of art tourism and to observe in practice how excursions are organised in cultural institutions.
Forte Kulanshi Art Space is a contemporary art space located in the centre of Astana at 8/1 Dostyk Street. Exhibitions and cultural events dedicated to various directions of contemporary art are regularly held here. Students were able to acquaint themselves with the exhibitions and to learn about the specifics of the work of tour guides in such institutions.
The event concluded successfully, generating keen interest among students and receiving positive reviews. Participants noted that the excursion to Forte Kulanshi Art Space enabled them to better understand the specifics of art tourism and gain valuable practical experience in developing and conducting guided tours.
