Esil University Students Visited the ‘ALZHIR’ Museum and Memorial Complex

В рамках недели образовательной программы «Туризм» кафедры «Социальная работа и туризм» Esil University, приуроченной к Международному дню туризма, для студентов 3–4 курсов была организована учебная экскурсия в музейно-мемориальный комплекс «АЛЖИР». Поездку возглавил старший преподаватель, магистр Ерболат Амангелді.

The event was aimed at the in-depth study of Kazakhstan's cultural and historical heritage and an understanding of the role of sites of memory in the development of excursion tourism. Students became acquainted with expositions dedicated to the tragic fates of women who suffered during the years of political repression, discussed the significance of "ALZHIR" as a site of patriotic and educational tourism, as well as the possibilities of incorporating it into tourist routes.

Following the excursion, future specialists in the field of tourism noted the importance of practical experience: such visits not only reinforce academic knowledge but also cultivate analytical thinking, develop skills in organizing excursions, and build the ability to work with diverse categories of visitors.
