The ceremonial opening of the International Academic-Methodological Conference "Artificial Intelligence, Inclusion and Academic Integrity: A Balance of Innovations and Educational Values", held from 5 to 31 January 2026, took place at Esil University.

В своём выступлении Серік Биханұлы подчеркнул стратегическую роль искусственного интеллекта в модернизации высшего образования, необходимость сохранения академических ценностей и важность институциональной ответственности университетов в условиях цифровой трансформации.
The moderator of the plenary session was Mukhamedzhanova Aigul Aitmagambetovna, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Associate Professor, who outlined the key objectives of the conference, presented the plenary session programme, and highlighted the interdisciplinary nature of the issues under discussion.
Leading experts delivered plenary reports:
- Kovaleva Yaroslava Nikolaevna — Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Inclusive Support Center at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. In her report, she addressed issues of interdisciplinary collaboration among specialists in teaching students with special educational needs, emphasizing the importance of a team-based approach.
- Nugmanova Lyazzat Begispayevna — Deputy Director of DataMatrix Corp LLP. The presentation was devoted to the practical aspects of applying artificial intelligence in professional and managerial activities, as well as to improving the efficiency of work processes.
- Orinina Larisa Vyacheslavovna — Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Sector for International Partnerships and Academic Mobility at Tajik National University (Dushanbe, Tajikistan). In her presentation, Larisa Vyacheslavovna shared the experience of internationalisation of higher education and international strategic partnership, underscoring the role of academic mobility, consortia, and joint educational programmes in enhancing the competitiveness of universities on the international stage.
- Karipova Asel Isenkeldyevna — Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Law at Esil University. Assel Isenkeldiyevna highlighted the current issues and prospects for the development of inclusion in the higher education system.
The plenary session concluded with an active discussion, confirming the high relevance of the topics addressed and the significance of international cooperation in the field of education.
