As part of the collaboration in the field of project management, the Department of Management organised a master class conducted by the Association of Legal Entities "Union of Project Managers of the Republic of Kazakhstan," the official partner of the Project Management Institute (PMI).
The Union of Project Managers (UPM) is the first Kazakhstani organisation to receive the status of a PMI Global Education Provider — PMI Authorized Training Partner.
Gulnar Dakieva, Director of the Regional Training Centre in Astana, delivered a presentation on the topic "Professional Certification — A Guarantee of Market Demand," in which she outlined the key stages of preparation for and completion of independent certification to obtain the professional qualification of "Project Manager's Assistant."
A certified trainer presented participants with information on the key aspects of project management, emphasizing that the success of a project largely depends on the level of professional competence of the specialists involved in its implementation. In order to become an assistant in the field of project management, it is essential to develop professional competencies encompassing knowledge, skills, and practical experience.
During the master class, final-year students of the "Management" educational programme were granted access to the official training base of the course. Upon completion of the training, participants will be able to take examination tests, upon successful completion of which they will be awarded the certificate of "Project Management Assistant."
