A guest lecture on the topic "Digitalisation of State Statistics" was conducted for students of groups B-St-24/1 R, B-St-24/1 K, and B-UiA 24/1 R.
The event was organized with the aim of expanding students' professional knowledge and familiarizing them with the practical aspects of applying statistics in the modern economy.
The lecture was delivered by Gulzhan Murapayeva, Head of the Trade Statistics Division. In her address, the speaker elaborated in detail on the processes of digital transformation within the state statistics system, describing the introduction of modern information technologies and automated data collection and processing systems.
Special attention was devoted to the advantages of digitalisation, such as increased accuracy of statistical data, the efficiency of data processing, and accessibility for users. Issues relating to the use of electronic resources, online platforms, and contemporary analytical tools in the professional activities of statisticians were also examined.
At the conclusion of the lecture, students actively participated in the discussion, posed questions of interest, and received informative answers. The event contributed to increasing students' interest in issues of digitalization and modern trends in the development of state statistics.
