A Seminar on Career Choice Was Held at Esil University

A seminar on the topic "Choice of Profession — A Key Stage in the Socialisation of the Individual" was held among first-year students of the "Statistics" educational programme. The presentation was delivered by students Abdullayeva Leila and Zhargakova Anel. In their presentation, they familiarised those present with the results of the conducted research.

In the course of the seminar's theme discussion, issues of organising career guidance work in foreign countries and problems of organising such work in our country were addressed. Students drew on examples from personal experience, identified factors influencing the choice of profession, and shared plans regarding their future professional careers.

The seminar participants concluded that the correct choice of profession determines the quality and lifestyle of the individual, their social status, and the conditions for self-realisation. It is important to choose a profession that is fulfilling and that provides not only material well-being but also aligns with the individual's intrinsic motivations, abilities, and interests. The seminar was substantive, discursive, and conducted at a high level.
