Meet the outstanding lecturers of Esil University! In 2022, the distinguished educator and Professor of the Department of "Management," Orazbayeva Kulman Nakhanovna, was awarded the title of laureate of the "Best Lecturer" competition.
Kulman Nakhanovna, we are delighted to welcome you! You are well known as a professor and mentor. Let us begin with a question about your childhood and dreams. What did you dream of becoming as a child?
Hello! Thank you for your question. My sister, Kulyash, was a German language teacher at school, and from childhood I dreamed of following her example. Today I am glad that my dream has come true and I am working at the university.
Tell us about your education and academic achievements.
I obtained a degree in accounting and the qualification of "Engineer-Economist," as well as a master's degree in economics and management at the university. I subsequently defended my dissertation and was awarded the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences. Throughout my career, I have held various positions, starting from bookkeeper in 1987 and progressing to Professor of the Department of Management at Esil University from 2015. My scholarly activities include publications in peer-reviewed journals, the authorship of textbooks and monographs, and participation in international conferences.
Please describe your experience working with students and your research activities.
Under my supervision, many students actively participated in scientific research and achieved success at international conferences. I have been awarded various prizes and certificates in recognition of my contributions to education and science.
What are your plans for the future?
My future plans include continuing to conduct scientific research, developing new teaching methods for students, and contributing to the implementation of the strategic plans of the Department of Management. I also hope to continue career guidance work and to support active educational and civic activities within the faculty and department."
