On 4 December 2024 at 15:00, an off-site lecture by Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the "Social Work and Tourism" Department Bayanddinova A.M. was held for second- and fourth-year students of the "Tourism" educational programme at Esil University on the topic "Hotel Business: Organisation and Planning" at one of the country's finest hotels, St. Regis Astana.
The lecture was conducted by Training Manager Supervisor Aidana Isabayeva and HR Supervisor of the hotel Alua Bekbosynova.
During the excursion and lecture, the hosts highlighted the key aspects of hotel franchise operations, hotel management, human resources, room service departments and spa facilities. Students acquired many new terms in the hospitality industry. They were subsequently shown all departments and the distinctive features of their operations, including restaurants, room inventory and conference halls. Particular interest was generated by the history of the hotel, the special rituals unique to this establishment, its design, artwork and interior decoration. It was emphasized that within the hotel chain, a career development personnel policy is maintained across the world.
