An Open Class on Pre-Trial Proceedings in Fire Service Agencies

In accordance with the academic curriculum, a second-year graduate student of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the General Prosecutor's Office, Senior Lieutenant of Civil Protection Aluadin Ramazan Sakenovich, conducted an open class for second-year students of Esil University at the initiative of Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor Karipova Asel Yesengeldikуzy.

The aim of the class was to enhance understanding of pre-trial proceedings in state fire prevention agencies, to reveal the specifics of their participation in criminal proceedings, their legal foundations and impact on public safety, and to examine areas for improvement based on international experience.

The session was conducted at a high level: the functions of the fire prevention service as an investigating body, its procedural powers, and the procedures for investigating fires were examined. In the second part, participants were presented with an overview of foreign models — the British HSE, the EU "Competent Authority" concept, and the experience of the United States — with an emphasis on the possibilities for their adaptation to the conditions of Kazakhstan.
