A Research Seminar at the Department of Accounting and Auditing: Discussing Current Issues of Kazakhstan’s Tax Legislation

As part of the Department of Accounting and Audit Week, a scientific seminar entitled "Current Issues of the Tax Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2023" was held, organised by PhD, Associate Professor of the Department, U.B. Yusupov.

During the event dedicated to Accountant's Day, important changes in the tax legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023 were reviewed. Special attention was paid to changes in desk audits and the application of tax legislation, including the Resolution of the Supreme Court.

Students were shown how risk criteria are formed on the basis of tax reporting data and other documents. Concepts such as "electronic labour exchange," "digital family map," "platform employment," and others were explained.

Seminar participants took an active part in discussing changes in tax legislation and received answers to all questions of interest.
