INTERNATIONAL ROUND TABLE AT THE DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT

The teaching staff of the Department of Management, within the framework of the Department of Management Week, held an International Round Table on the theme "Current Issues in Economics and Management: The Experience of Russia and Kazakhstan," dedicated to the anniversary of the Russian State Social University — 105 years — and to the Economist's Day of the Russian Federation, in a hybrid format.

Opening remarks were delivered by representatives of the RSSU administration (Vice-Rector for Research at RSSU Vrozhenko V.V., Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management Solodukha P.V., and Deputy Dean for Research Taranova I.V.) and Esil University (Dean of the Faculty of Business and Management Alina G.B., Head of the Department of Management Baigiреeva Zh.Z., and Head of the Department of Finance Lukpanova Zh.O.). The organiser and moderator of the International Round Table on behalf of Esil University was Candidate of Economic Sciences, Professor Esymkhanova Z.K.

At the International Round Table session, key issues in economics and governance were identified and discussed based on the experience of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan. Insightful presentations by speakers on the round table theme were delivered, and students along with faculty actively participated by posing questions on the topics under discussion.

We hope that our continued partnership will contribute to the development of students' knowledge and skills, and will also make a significant contribution to science and practice in the fields of economics and management in our countries.
