A lecture entitled "Digital Traps of the 21st Century" or "How to Protect Yourself from Financial Fraudsters" was conducted for students of Esil University.
The lecture was delivered by Nurzhan Ashikhanov, Deputy Head of the Department of Economic Investigations for the City of Astana of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Financial Monitoring, and Gaini Mukhanova, Professor of ITU, Candidate of Economic Sciences, PhD.
During the lecture, the problem of financial crime, which is becoming increasingly relevant with the development of information technology, was examined. Experts informed students about digital fraud, common methods of deception, and shared practical recommendations for protection against financial traps on the internet.
The aim of the lecture is to raise youth awareness of the risks associated with financial crimes and to provide guidance on ensuring personal safety in the digital space.
