Baydinova Almas Muzatovna, Curator of Group Tur-24/1 R, second year, Department of Social Work and Tourism, conducted a curators' hour with the participation of Psychologist and Department Lecturer Kurmangaliyeva Zh.K.
During the meeting, information was presented on an information campaign conducted in the country from February 9 to March 8 to raise legal literacy among the population and foster zero tolerance for forced marriage, stalking, and other forms of violence against women.
Students were provided with methodological and informational materials for further use. The academic advisor noted the necessity of incorporating events into the working plans of student groups (including within the framework of the Law and Order direction) and of organising both traditional and large-scale, creative forms of engagement.
The invited psychologist explained the provisions of the new legislation, answered students' questions, and familiarised the attendees with the activities of organisations providing assistance to victims of violence.
During the tutor hour, students demonstrated active engagement, asked questions of interest, and took the information on board for further application.
