The Department of Finance at Esil University organized a round table entitled "Current Issues in the Transformation of Taxation in the Republic of Kazakhstan," dedicated to the birthday of Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, financier, and distinguished educator Aldanyshu Nurumov.
The purpose of the event was to discuss key changes in the field of taxation and tax administration under current economic conditions. During the roundtable, experts examined problems of tax policy, including the regulation of entrepreneurial activity and the application of innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence in tax administration.
The round table was attended by leading scholars from Kazakhstani universities, representatives of the Committee of State Revenue of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, doctoral candidates, and experts in the field of finance.
The Rector of Esil University, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor A.A. Taubayev, delivered a welcoming address to the participants, noting the significance of the topics under discussion and the outstanding contribution of Professor A.A. Nurumov to the development of the science of finance and the tax system of Kazakhstan.

Lukpanova Zhanar Oralkhanova — Head of the Department of Finance, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor. Topic of the report: "Tax Regulation of Entrepreneurial Activity in the Republic of Kazakhstan."
The speakers elaborated on issues of tax reform, discussing the efficiency of the tax system in contemporary realities, the digitalisation of tax administration, and mechanisms for supporting business through tax instruments.
