A round table on the topic "Inclusivity and Competitiveness in the Labour Market: New Realities and Directions of Development in the Context of the Digital Economy" was held at Esil University, conducted within the framework of a grant project of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan (IRN AP19676695).
The event was attended by representatives of the faculty, government bodies, NGOs, as well as doctoral students, master's students, and undergraduates.
Within the framework of the round table, a presentation was delivered featuring analytical and visual materials reflecting the results of research on the digitalization and transformation of the labor market. Special attention was devoted to the concept of an inclusive labor market — equal employment opportunities, the development of digital competencies, and the adaptability of workers to technological changes.
Participants discussed priority measures to enhance inclusivity and support vulnerable categories of workers, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between science, government, and civil society organizations in shaping a sustainable employment model.
Based on the results of the meeting, recommendations were developed for further scientific and practical work.
