Round Table ‘Adaptability as a Key Feature of the Modern Economy’

Within the Framework of the Department Week "Economics and Marketing" A round table was organised on the topic "Adaptability as a Property of the Modern Economy." The event was aimed at discussing the key factors that determine the resilience and flexibility of economic systems in a rapidly changing external environment.

The speaker was Кажыкен Мейрам Зекешұлы , Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor of the Higher School of Economics of the International University of Astana, a renowned expert in the fields of economic theory, institutional transformations, and sustainable development. During the presentation, the professor emphasized that the economy's ability to respond promptly to technological, social, and market challenges is becoming a defining condition of its competitiveness.

Participants of the roundtable — faculty members of the department, master's students, and students in economics programmes — discussed the factors influencing the adaptability of the national economy, the role of innovation, the institutional environment and human capital, as well as the prospects for Kazakhstan's development in the context of global transformation.
