The Department of Management Held a Curator Session on ‘What Is Harassment?’

The academic adviser, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Orazbayeva K.N., addressed the first-year students of groups 23/1kaz B-Man, B-GMU 23/1kaz on the topic of the mentorship hour — "What Is Harassment?" — and also explained that the number of people subjected to bullying in the country is growing day by day.

The term "harassment" is frequently heard. Harassment refers to physical pressure exerted on a person, violence, extortion through offensive words and messages, humiliation of an individual, and violation of personal boundaries. In order to avoid such actions in any environment, including the workplace, it is important to understand what harassment is and the number of its forms.

According to specialists, there are six types of harassment: unwanted touching, touching; escalation and emotional distress; verbal pressure; cyber harassment; and exhibitionism.
