The Department of Information Systems and Technologies hosted the intellectual competition Physics Battles under the motto "Ignite the Stars with Knowledge."
The purpose of the game: to motivate students to study the subject more deeply and comprehensively, and to cultivate an interest in physics lessons.
Second-year students of the educational programme "Information Systems", divided into two teams — "Kinetics" (team captain Sayan Barlybayev) and "Nuclear Mutants" (team captain Sergei Kalmykov) — demonstrated in an intellectual contest not only their deep knowledge of physics but also their ingenuity in solving riddles on physical topics, performed experiments while attempting to explain them, and composed an adventure story "Once at Esil University…" using physical terminology.
The rigorous jury assessed the outcome of the physics battle in favour of the "Kinetics" team.
The students expressed their gratitude to Leila Galimbekovna Kassenova, Associate Professor of the Department of Information Systems and Technologies, for her engaging and stimulating classes, her dedication to teaching, and her ability to instil confidence in students' capabilities.
