On April 9, as part of the "Statistics" Week, the Department of Accounting and Audit held an educational and methodological seminar entitled "Innovative Proposals for Organizing and Conducting Core Disciplines of the Educational Programmes 'Statistics' and 'Accounting and Audit'."
The seminar was attended by faculty members of the Department of Accounting and Audit at Esil University, as well as students enrolled in the educational programmes "Statistics," "Accounting and Audit," and other related fields of study. The event was organized by Altynbekov Miyatbek Altynbekovich, PhD , Acting Professor of the "Accounting and Audit" Department at Esil University.
The objective of the seminar was to discuss innovative approaches to teaching specialized disciplines and to enhance the quality of the educational process within the framework of implementing educational programmes in the fields of statistics and accounting. Particular attention was devoted to the introduction of interactive teaching formats, the use of digital educational resources, and practice-oriented teaching methodologies.
During the event, questions were raised regarding the role of pedagogical innovations in transforming the content and formats of the educational process, as well as strategies for increasing student motivation. Participants discussed opportunities for integrating modern educational technologies, including case-study methods, business games, situational modelling, and hybrid teaching formats applicable to the disciplines of Statistics and Accounting and Audit.
The academic and methodological seminar became a productive academic platform for the exchange of experience and proposals for improving the educational process, where participants emphasised the importance of introducing innovative solutions.
