Esil University continues its active efforts to develop international partnerships. A further step in this direction has been negotiations with representatives of Jiangsu University of Technology, during which prospects for implementing dual-degree programmes in the "Tourism" educational programme were discussed.
During the meeting, the parties examined in detail the issues of academic mobility for students and faculty, and discussed the development of joint curricula. Special attention was paid to the exchange of experience in training specialists for the tourism industry, taking into account the current requirements of the international labour market.
Representing the Chinese institution in the negotiations were Yu Qinmei — Deputy Head of the International Cooperation and Exchange Department and Acting Deputy Dean for International Education — and Ye Shuai — Head of the Chinese Language Department at the Faculty of Culture and Tourism.
Esil University was represented at the meeting by faculty deans, vice-rectors, heads of departments, and directors of structural units, which underscored the university's high level of engagement in the development of international educational initiatives.
Following the negotiations, the parties expressed mutual interest in expanding cooperation, emphasising the importance of developing competitive educational programmes aimed at training sought-after specialists in the tourism sector.
