By Invitation of the Department of Management Esil University economist, journalist, deputy of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, VII convocation Daulet Mukaev delivered a guest lecture for 3rd-year students of the "Management" and "State and Local Administration" programmes on the topic of «Financial Literacy and Internet Fraud». .
On 6 March, an informative and educational lecture was held, dedicated to financial literacy and internet fraud , in which students, specialists, and all those interested in cybersecurity issues participated.
During the lecture, various types of online fraud were examined in detail, such as phishing, spam, fake websites and other cyber threats. Participants learned about methods of protecting personal data on the internet, as well as the most relevant risks faced by network users.
Students shared personal examples and received answers to important questions. All participants noted informativeness of the lecture and the practical value of the information received. Particularly noteworthy were practical tips for safe behavior online , which will help to avoid the traps of internet fraudsters.
