An open class was conducted by graduate students of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the participation of second-year students of the Department of Law at Esil University.
The primary objective of the event was to integrate students' theoretical knowledge with practical application, develop law enforcement skills, and master the procedural aspects of judicial proceedings in practice. The open class was organised in an interactive format in accordance with contemporary educational requirements and took the form of a simulated (mock trial) civil and criminal court proceeding.
Within the framework of civil procedure, the process of marriage dissolution (divorce) was examined, including the procedure for filing a claim, the particularities of court proceedings, the rights and obligations of the parties, and the procedure for rendering a judicial decision, all of which were demonstrated in a practical format.
Within the framework of criminal proceedings, the topical issue of droppering (the illegal use of bank accounts) was examined, with disclosure of the elements of the criminal offence, the evidentiary process, issues of criminal liability, as well as the actions of law enforcement agencies, presented in the form of a practical re-enactment. The event was aimed at enhancing the legal culture of students, developing professional competencies, and deepening the mastery of practical aspects of law enforcement activities.
