7 Days of Management: A Vibrant Conclusion to the Department Week

The week of the Department of Management concluded successfully at Esil University — a large-scale educational event that brought together students, faculty, employers, and representatives of government bodies. Over several days, participants were engaged in a series of master classes, discussions, lectures, and creative projects aimed at developing professional competencies and promoting management as a modern and in-demand field of study.

The week commenced with a master class by the Legal Entity "Union of Project Managers of the Republic of Kazakhstan," during which students were introduced to relevant project management tools and contemporary industry requirements. Particular interest was aroused by the presentation of the global educational provider PMI Authorized Training Partner PMI, which revealed to attendees the opportunities for international certification in the field of project management.

В течение недели на LED-экранах университета транслировались видеоролики форматов «Менің мамандығым» и «Моя профессия», представленные студентами. Эти материалы позволили взглянуть на специальность «Менеджмент» через призму личного опыта обучающихся.

The key events of the week were two major discussions.

The first was a round table with employers of the educational programmes «Management» and «Public Administration» on the topic of "The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on the Labour Market: Opportunities and Challenges for Youth in the Context of Digital Transformation" . The discussion was held within the framework of the department's grant projects and drew attention to the importance of digital skills in the context of a rapidly changing labour market.

The second — panel discussion «Қарызсыз қоғам – тұрақты Республиканың кепілі: тиімді басқарудың рөлі» with the participation of Daulet Mukayev, Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The speaker emphasized the importance of financial literacy and responsible governance in building a sustainable society.

In addition, an introductory lecture was held "Systemic Effects of Quasi-Public Sector Reform: Towards a New Model of Public Administration in Kazakhstan" , conducted by Aidyn Imashev, Head of the Department of the Subsoil Use Department of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

A significant stage of the week was a debate tournament on the topic of "VAT 16%: Opportunities or Challenges?" , where students demonstrated the ability to argue positions and work with economic data.

The week concluded with a ceremonial closing ceremony adorned by a festive concert prepared by students of years 1 to 4. The atmosphere of the event became a highlight of the rich programme.

Special attention was given to the video competition on the topic of «My Profession Is Manager» . The winners were awarded diplomas, commemorative prizes, and confectionery. Awards were presented by Dean of the Faculty Alina G.B., Head of the Department Baigireeva Zh.Z., and Associate Professor Imashev A.B.
