A Guest Lecture on ‘No to Domestic Violence in the Family’ Was Held

As part of educational and preventive work, a guest lecture was held devoted to one of the pressing social issues — the prevention of domestic violence. The event was aimed at raising students' awareness of the forms of domestic violence, its causes, and its socio-psychological consequences.

Организаторами и приглашёнными специалистами выступили психологи КГУ «Кризисный центр „Үміт“» акимата города Астаны, а также куратор DBA, старший преподаватель кафедры «Социальная работа и туризм» Медетбекова А.А. В лекции приняли участие студенты групп Б-ӘЖ 24/1 Қ-1 и Б-ӘЖ 24/1 Қ-2.

During the meeting, students were provided with information on various forms of domestic violence and the psychological and social factors contributing to its occurrence. Particular attention was paid to issues of prevention, mechanisms for protecting the rights of victims, and opportunities for receiving psychological and social assistance.
