С 10 по 14 ноября 2025 года в Esil University проходила неделя кафедры «Финансы», приуроченная ко Дню национальной валюты — Теңге.
The opening of the week took place with the participation of the Dean of the "Business and Management" Faculty, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor G.B. Alina, and the Head of the "Finance" Department, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Zh.O. Lukpanova, who delivered welcoming remarks.
The week was inaugurated with a guest lecture by Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University Z.D. Iskakova, who spoke on the topic "Contemporary Issues of the Banking Sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan." The speaker highlighted the key challenges facing the financial system and proposed possible avenues for the development of Kazakhstan's banking sector.
Esil University's financial consultant N.M. Zhusupova delivered a presentation entitled "Introduction to Managerial Financial Reporting," emphasising the role of financial reporting in the effective management of a company.
International events took place during the week: the participation of Professor Z.K. Yesymkhanova in a webinar hosted by Clarivate (Web of Science) on 11 November, as well as her participation on 13 November in the International Scientific and Practical Conference of the Department of Finance at RUDN University named after Patrice Lumumba, held jointly with the Bank of Russia on monetary policy issues.
The department organised a scholarly seminar entitled "Trends and Innovations in the Field of Financial and Credit Relations," at which faculty members presented reports on current topics: the digital transformation of public finances, the development of banking services and payment systems, prospects for tax policy, and other important aspects of the financial sector.
Студенты 4 курса посетили Музей Национального банка РК, а студенты 3 курса приняли участие в интеллектуальной игре «Шекарасыз қаржы» среди вузов Астаны. Кроме того, были проведены кураторские часы по теме «Теңге – валюта независимого Казахстана».
The week concluded with a competition for the best logo of the "Finance" educational programme. Based on the jury's results, the winners were:

Неделя кафедры, посвящённая Дню национальной валюты, способствовала укреплению знаний студентов об истории Теңге, расширила их профессиональные горизонты и усилила интерес к сфере финансов.
