Organization and stocking of the library collection in accordance with the university's profile, based on the regulations on collection development and the thematic-typological acquisition plan of the Scientific Library jointly with the university's departments. Replenishment of the library collection with educational, instructional-methodological, scientific, and supplementary literature in both print and electronic formats, according to the university's specialties. Analysis of readers' provision with textbooks and study guides in order to supplement the collections and meet the requests of the active readership. Accounting and management of the flow of collection movement during processing. Provision of maximum access to library and information resources. Development of the electronic library collection in accordance with user requests. Creation of a reference-support apparatus for the electronic catalog system. Improving the quality of library services provided through the automation of library and information processes.

Systematization, cataloging, and scientific processing of books and other documents received into the collection in accordance with library standards. Scanning and digitizing books, editing and reflecting documents in electronic catalogs in order to make the library collection accessible. Building and replenishing the electronic library collection in accordance with user requests. Provision of core library services: reference and bibliographic services, compilation of bibliographic indexes, completion of bibliographic references; advisory assistance to readers in selecting books and using information in the educational process, studying the information needs of the university's researchers and students with the aim of meeting them optimally, fulfilling thematic requests and oral references for readers.

Organization of library services: registration and enrollment of university students, faculty, and staff; maintaining an electronic reader record for book lending based on barcoding in the e-university system. Familiarizing them with the rules of use and the library's capabilities. Providing readers with core library services and the university library's educational and research materials. Editing and reflecting library collection documents in electronic catalogues to make the library collection accessible. Working to clear readers' outstanding loans. Ensuring rational placement of the collections, their preservation, storage conditions, restoration, and conservation.

Open-access reading rooms

Organization of library services for readers, advisory assistance in selecting literature in open-access reading rooms, fulfillment of thematic requests and oral references for readers. Information and bibliographic reference services for users in reading rooms. Provision of educational materials to readers (educational and scientific publications, periodicals). Organization of thematic book exhibitions, literature preview exhibitions, thematic shelves, calendars of significant dates, as well as mass events.
Permanent exhibitions are located in the library lobby exhibitions. To improve the quality of reader services and ensure maximum access to information, open access to the library collection has been introduced in the reading rooms of the scientific library. Open access allows readers to find and freely take the literature they need for their work. To ensure the preservation of the collection, a video surveillance system has been installed in the reading rooms.
