Doctoral admission dates

01Application period: July 3 to August 3, 2026.

02Entrance examinations: August 4 to August 20, 2026.

03Doctoral enrollment — by August 28, 2026.

Documents are submitted in person at the higher education institution. For items 4), 5) and 7), originals and copies are provided — after verification, the originals are returned to the applicant.

ApplicationAddressed to the head of the higher education institution, in free form.

Education documentOriginal document — when submitting documents to the admissions committee.

ID cardRequired for identity verification.

KAZTEST certificateOfficial state language exam certificate issued by the National Testing Center.

Foreign language certificateEnglish, German or French with the established minimum score (see below).

Medical certificateForm 075/u in electronic format (Order No. ҚР ДСМ-175/2020). During restrictive measures and emergencies — as they are lifted.

Six photographsSize 3×4 centimeters.

Personnel record sheetOr another document confirming employment, certified by the HR department at the place of work.

List of scholarly publicationsScientific publications, research plan, essays and other works from the last 3 calendar years (if available).

Foreign language threshold scores

A certificate confirming proficiency in one of the foreign languages is required, with a score no lower than the specified threshold.
